Abstract
The aim of this study was to understand collaborative work among healthcare professionals from three Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees (CFTs). We conducted a qualitative study using individual semi structured interviews conducted via Google Meet®. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed using thematic content analysis. The CFTs were characterized as an environment that fosters collaborative learning, the development and refinement of teamwork skills and partnership building. The following challenges were identified: lack of awareness of the importance of CFTs; excessive workload; absence of professional training; and lack of member commitment. The results of this study can help inform the reformulation of teamwork processes, encouraging the improvement of inter-professional practice within CFTs, and provide guidance for the implementation of collaborative inter-professional practice.
