Abstract
Given the institutionalization of care for the population suffering from mental illness, including substance abuse, and the potential of the Singular Therapeutic Project (STP), the objective was to qualify, in a participatory way, how the STP can guide the care practices of the workers at a Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs (Caps Ad). This is part of a qualitative, research-action study with ten workers at Caps Ad, carried out in two stages: individual semi-structured interviews and the Knowledge-Building Workshop (WBW). The data was triangulated and analyzed using thematic content analysis. Five thematic categories were established, highlighting the team’s conceptions of STP as a powerful organizer of care, but also the challenges in systematizing the STP. Based on this data, the WBW with the workers enabled the construction of knowledge about the STP in a collective and participatory way.
