Abstract

This experience report outlines the creation of a group of adolescents in a primary health care setting. The aim of the group was to discuss adolescent issues, including themes such as identity, territory, rights and race. The experience was analyzed in the light of the concept of comprehensiveness, encompassing reflections on its four core elements: needs, purposes, articulations and interactions. The group proved to be a successful strategy for bringing adolescents and the family health team closer together and creating bonds, highlighting interprofessional and intersectoral work. Comprehensive health care is fundamental for the care of this group, extending beyond traditional disease-based care to encompass emancipatory care, which is important at this stage of life.
