The article analyzes the perception of Primary Care users, in a city located in the state of Santa Catarina, about possible immaterial changes wove in the daily process of their lives after the implementation of the More Doctors Program. It is a qualitative study with a humanistic approach to the analysis of reality, developed in February and March 2018, by means of semi-structured interviews with sixteen users indicated by community health agents. The results revealed trust as a value sourced of the care production experience, enabled by the importance given to one way of providing primary care whose beacon is the routine process and the formation of bonds. The conclusion was that, without a long-lasting knowledge targeted at symmetrical relationships, the necessary guarantees to the fulfilment of the precious encounter between the one who trusts (user) and the one who can be trusted (doctor) are not consolidated in Primary Care.
