Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused a global crisis and highlighted problems of infodemic and misinformation. In Argentina, a lack of communication materials about Covid-19 aimed at children was detected, despite them being impacted by social isolation and school closures. To produce contextualized messages, an exploratory analysis of their experiences and emotions was carried out, through 69 testimonies from parents and teachers in Córdoba city. These were organized into four emerging categories: the pandemic, life in isolation, school at home and emotions. Based on this, two animated short films and a comic strip were created, promoting healthy practices and addressing themes such as self-care, family dialogue, and emotions. These materials, widely disseminated through social networks and schools, highlight the importance of considering a situated and comprehensive perspective on communication in crisis contexts, considering both biological, emotional and relational dimensions.
