Abstract
This article aims to present reflections on the university extension Project “Disability and Emancipation: experiences of creation and community participation”, developed since 2022 by students, teachers, professionals, people with and without disabilities in a neighborhood in the city of Salvador. The Project, guided by a decolonial and anti-ableist perspective, uses collaborative research and intervention methodologies to promote spaces for participation, artistic, social organization and educational actions constituted in the interaction between the singularities of those who produce them and the understanding of a collective that is being drafted. From these, teamwork skills, bonds, negotiations, limitations and communication and shared creation. The initial investments have resulted in potentialities have been highlighted in learning about the delicacy and immensity of small actions.
