Abstract

Long COVID poses a persistent challenge to the organization of care within Brazilian National Health System (SUS), especially in Primary Health Care. This study aimed to describe the participatory and collaborative process of developing the Baixada Santista Regional Continuing Health Education Plan for 2024–2025, highlighting its alignment with local realities and with the qualification of care and regional care networks focused on long COVID. This is an experience report developed between February and April 2024, based on six preparatory meetings and one regional meeting, involving health workers, managers, training institutions, and social participation. The results indicate Continuing Health Education as a micropolitical co-management tool, enabling the negotiation of care pathways, the implementation of regional matrix support, and the construction of an indicator dashboard, despite existing tensions and institutional inequalities.
