Abstract
This paper reflects on an extension experience developed with children, adolescents, and young people with disabilities, to promote spaces for reflection and participation through artistic expression focused on health and quality of life. From an interdisciplinary perspective, workshops incorporating photo-elicitation techniques and collage-making were conducted. The project explored collage as a visual language and creative device for the meaning-making in multimodal contexts. Drawing on a qualitative approach to the creative process, it examines collage both as a constructed image within social research and as a tool for expression and encounter with others. The paper offers reflections on the potential of art for the collective production of knowledge and for health interventions based on inclusive approaches.
