“Receituário Mais que Especial”: an urban intervention for thinking of art and research within the context of psychiatric reform

This paper addresses the experience of constructing and conducting an urban intervention named “Receituário Mais que Especial”, with psychiatric reform and the current context of medicalization of life as the backdrop. Focusing on the intersection between art and research in the field of psychosocial care, the authors present elements that question the boundaries between these issues and the ramifications of an intervention constructed through an interdisciplinary group: the “smooth space”. The power of art and urban intervention for knowledge production, reflection and questioning regarding healthcare is clear from this path.
