Abstract

This article looks at the use of diaries in interprofessional and interdisciplinary health training, focusing on the everyday work of different professionals at a public university. The aim of the study was to understand work with diaries based on students’ perceptions in the context of a health training pathway in order to understand how writing a diary can contribute to processes of change in health training. We conducted a qualitative study based on institutional analysis and (auto)biographical narrative research-training, drawing on different research sources. The findings show that writing a diary is a tool that can help students weave together what they live, experience and narrate. Writing a diary values other writing possibilities and can help promote health training in harmony with life as it is: plural.
