Abstract
This essay reflects on the relationship between narrative medicine, social media, and humanization based on the use of social media by one of the authors to share experiences in the context of primary health care. Questions about prevailing health care models, listening, and narrative as dispositives of the humanization of care and the emergence of social media as drivers of humanized health practices arose as important points that need to be analyzed in the light of current literature. In the conclusion we present some considerations relating to the use of narrative medicine as a tool for promoting humanizing practices.
